Sean Sung has been a full-time Arbitrator, Mediator, Factfinder, and Neutral Investigator since joining Scheinman Arbitration and Mediation Services in 2026. Before becoming a full-time neutral, Mr. Sung served as the conference reporter for the Labor Arbitration Institute and a researcher for the National Conflict Resolution Service. His most recent research on labor arbitration in South Africa has been presented at professional conflict resolution organizations and will soon be published.
Mr. Sung sits on the Board of Directors for the Montana Mediation Association and is a member of the Montana Mediation Association’s Mediation Roster, the New York State Part 137 Arbitration Panel, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and the New York State Dispute Resolution Association.
Mr. Sung holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He is a current participant in the ILR School’s Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution’s Labor Arbitrator Development Program and holds multiple professional certifications from the New York County Lawyers Association, the ILR School’s Scheinman Institute, and Cornell University’s Institute for Compensation Studies.
